Luminosity Studies
This project was created using long exposure photography and a technique called 'light painting.' Each photograph was exposed for anywhere from three seconds to one minute. I created many of the aesthetic formations seen in the works - some from items found in nature. Funny story - one of the photographs from this series sent me to the E.R.! Now I know what poison ivy looks like... lol! I picked a bunch of leaves then 'painted' and 'sculpted' them into the artworks. I love making art with nature :)
